Le Parisien

Le Parisien is an authentic French bistro in Midtown Oklahoma City, opened in late 2025 by restaurateur Dustin Lancaster (owner of downtown burger spot Bar Arbolada) and co-owner Alain Jeu, who was born in France and moved to Oklahoma City from Los Angeles to open it. The restaurant took over the former Cafe do Brasil space at NW 11th and Walker, with LA chef Bryant Gallegos drafted to lead the kitchen. Jeu decorated the walls with decor and knick-knacks bought at French markets to echo the bistros of his home country. The menu covers classic French bistro fare: French onion soup, gnocchi a la Pariesenne (a choux-dumpling preparation), and escargot that regularly sells out each night. An extensive wine list showcases selections from regions across France, alongside handcrafted cocktails. The Oklahoma Gazette noted comfort-forward sides like mornay frites, plus steak tartare, charcuterie, and a Parisian burger that serves as the bougier French cousin of Bar Arbolada's acclaimed double cheeseburger. Le Parisien serves brunch Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with a Tuesday-to-Friday 4-to-6 pm happy hour. Reservations run through Resy, though the restaurant sets aside tables and the entire bar for walk-in guests. Entry is on Walker Street, and Jeu personally helps guests pronounce menu items tableside.
