About

Red Earth Art Center is a gallery in downtown Oklahoma City devoted to the art and culture of Native Americans. It sits in the south lobby of the BancFirst Tower at 100 N Broadway Ave, and admission is always free. The center is open to the public Monday through Friday. The center is operated by Red Earth, Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote Native American arts and cultures through education, a premier festival, museum exhibits, and fine art markets. It relocated to downtown Oklahoma City in 2010 after more than 30 years at the Kirkpatrick Center Museum Complex. The Art Center hosts rotating exhibitions highlighting contemporary and traditional Native artists. Recent shows have included Through Her Eyes, celebrating Indigenous women artists, and the annual Treefest, featuring Christmas trees adorned with handmade ornaments from Oklahoma tribes.
