One of the few museums in the world dedicated solely to the history of women in aviation, operated by the Ninety-Nines (the international organization of women pilots, named for its 99 charter members); opened to the public in 1999.

About

Over 5,000 sq ft of exhibits and artifacts spanning pioneers to modern astronauts, plus one of the largest Amelia Earhart memorabilia collections. Exhibits cover the 1929 Women's Air Derby (Santa Monica to Cleveland, which Earhart flew), WWII WASPs, women combat pilots, and a wall of first woman pilots by country. On-site research archives and library for scholars; interactive 'Learn to Fly' area for kids.
