About

Carpenter Square Theatre is Oklahoma City's intimate nonprofit live theatre, presenting plays in a 120-seat setting. The company stages a year-round season of award-winning modern works, comedy classics and musicals — its 40th anniversary season (2023–24) included titles such as 'Between Riverside and Crazy,' 'Clue: Onstage' and 'Lifespan of a Fact,' and its fall 2026 production 'King James' ran September 11–27, 2026. The theatre moved into its renovated downtown home at 1009 W Reno Ave in 2023. The venue includes a lobby art gallery (the Tanenbaum Gallery) and a bar, with refreshments permitted inside the theatre, and free parking is available in the lot across the street. Performances run Thursday through Saturday evenings with Sunday matinees. Regular adult tickets are $30 with discounts for seniors, military, educators, students and groups; Thursday shows carry a reduced ticket price and $5 student rush tickets are available.
