La Baguette Bistro at 7408 N May Ave is the Buthion brothers' French bistro, bakery, and boucherie — a Nichols Hills-area institution since the early 1980s, marked by the landmark Eiffel Tower out front. Brothers Michel and Alain learned the trade at their father Jean's boucherie in the South of France. The menu runs classic French bistro territory — half rack of lamb persillade, crepes, torchon, oysters — plus house-baked breads and pastries and an on-site butcher shop. An in-house art gallery features Oklahoma artists, and the room is a longstanding date-night and anniversary pick. Hours: Monday 9am-3pm, Tuesday-Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday-Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 9am-2:30pm. Known for a strong weekend brunch and half-price oyster Wednesdays.
