Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge is a 1,000-acre City of Oklahoma City nature preserve in northwest Oklahoma City, located at NW 51st Street and N Stinchcomb Avenue.

About

The refuge lies along the North Canadian River and is bordered on the south by Lake Overholser. Habitats include hardwood forest of oak and sycamore, swamps, and marshes; it sits on the Central Flyway and hosts more than 200 bird species, including bald eagles, migratory waterfowl, and peregrine falcons. Activities include hiking, biking, birdwatching, fishing, and paddling on the river; admission is free.
